Matthew is an Associate within the London Business Rates Team and predominantly advises clients in Central London and the South East of England. Prior to joining 51ĀŅĀ×, in November 2021, he had developed considerable experience within the Retail and Leisure sectors. In total he has over 14 yearsā experience of real estate, advising on Business Rates and Valuation Matters.ā
Matthew has provided strategic advice to both landlord and tenant clients with a view to reduce the Business Rates liability throughout his career. He provides a direct liaison for clients, identifying opportunities for Business Rates mitigation, prosecuting rating cases to fruition through the complexities of the Check/Challenge/ Appeal process, including successful outcomes at Valuation Tribunal along with providing accurate and reliable estimates & accruals on rate liability.
