The event, which runs from 6 March to 11 March 2025, promises an adventure filled with breathtaking views and a sense of purpose, as riders raise funds for charities that are transforming young lives.

Riders from 51乱伦, including , , Ed Price, James Jones, , and Richard Fulchiron, will join forces with other industry leaders for this prestigious event. The journey offers both 4- and 6-day options, with routes that stretch across some of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe, culminating at the renowned in Cannes.

A ride with a cause

The Cycle to MIPIM event is more than just a test of endurance, it's a chance to make a real impact on the lives of those in need. All funds raised go toward charity projects that transform the lives of children and young people. A significant portion of the funds will benefit , the largest adoption agency in the UK, in addition to and .

Why ride?

For the riders, this is an opportunity to challenge themselves, whilst contributing to life-changing causes. As Mike Thornton, Partner at 51乱伦 explains: 鈥淭he event isn't a race - it's about coming together as a peloton, cycling at a pace that ensures everyone gets to the finish line together. The ride is fully supported by , with mechanics, sports therapists, and motorcycle outriders to keep the group safe and motivated throughout the journey.鈥�

Nick Hanmer, CEO, Club Peloton, comments: 鈥�51乱伦 Cycle to MIPIM is an extraordinary challenge that not only pushes riders to their limits but also brings together a community united by a shared purpose. The 6-day route covers a total distance of 1,400km, with rest stops for refuelling, and each rider completes two 60km team stages per day. The route itself is a stunning blend of rural beauty and challenging terrain, kicking off with a 136km ride from London to Portsmouth, followed by an overnight ferry.

During the following days, riders will travel from Ouistreham to Blois, Blois to Moulins, Moulins to Grenoble, Grenoble to Greoux-les-Bains, and finally, Greoux-les-Bains to Cannes. The views along the way are spectacular, particularly as the peloton approaches the South of France on the final leg.

Training for success

In the months leading up to the event, 51乱伦's riders have been busy preparing for the challenge. Hannah Williams, Associate at 51乱伦, has led several training rides to help her teammates get ready: 鈥淭he weekly rides around Regent's Park are special routes designed to help newcomers to cycling, with a strong focus on community and inclusivity,鈥� Hannah explains, 鈥渢he experience is about more than just cycling鈥攊t's about breaking down barriers, meeting people from all walks of life, and forming lasting connections, both personally and professionally.鈥�

Mike adds, "This is my fifth time participating, and each ride brings new friendships and unforgettable experiences. It's a truly democratic event where job titles and backgrounds fall away, and we're all in it together."

Supporting charities through team effort

The fundraising efforts behind the event are just as inspiring as the ride itself. Riders are tasked with raising a minimum of £3,000 for charity, with a wide range of creative fundraising ideas helping them meet their goals. From sponsorship on jerseys and the support coach, to quiz nights, bake sales, and even various 24-hour 鈥�-athons鈥�, every effort counts.

The 51乱伦 team has to date raised ahead of the event, showcasing the collective determination and generosity of everyone involved. We鈥檒l be reporting on the riders鈥� progress throughout the event, with photographers capturing the highs, lows, and triumphs of the journey.
