Bjorn has fifteen yearsā experience in the Business Rates sector appealing and reducing clients rate liability in London and the South East. A qualified Chartered Surveyor and awarded the RICS Rating Diploma, which is recognised as the gold standard for rating surveyors.
Responsible for minimising the Business Rates liability on behalf of several FTSE 100 clients including British Land, Aviva Investors, St Jamesās Place Wealth Management, Smurfit Kappa. As regional lead, he helps to coordinate the UK Cities appeals teams which focus on office, retail and industrial properties.
The service we provide includes; negotiation and settlement of appeals, applying for reliefs and exemptions, transitional regulations, presenting cases at Valuation Tribunal, challenging completion notices and rate demands.
